Bernie is the County Councillor for Epsom West Division and Borough councillor for Stamford Ward.

She has been involved in the development of Environmental Strategies and is actively working to increase awareness of mental health issues and working with stakeholders to achieve a more integrated approach to mental health provision.  

Bernie has worked for a charity supporting those who are Blind or Visual Impaired and supporting those with Dyslexia. In addition, she is a patron of a Mental Health charity. 

Bernie believes in the power of the Community and is striving to ensure that communities have the means to work together to achieve their local aims.
