Following the success of National Apprenticeship Week, Surrey County Council has announced that the 500th apprentice to be recruited through their scheme to get teenagers into work began his new role at a digital media company in Egham this week.

Under Surrey’s initiative, employers receive £750 from the county council for each apprentice they take on in addition to any national funding available to them.
